If you have ever used a chatbot, you have probably also experienced the dreadful “Sorry, I don’t understand.” For the user this basically means: dead end, no points, go back to start and try again. After 3 times, most users give up, leaving them with “chatbots are just dumb” and likely they won’t talk to chatbots again.
How would you help your customers when you are a zoo, or a city, or when you want to help your customers outside the walls of your building, like the Hospitality industry? “I’d use an app for that!”, I hear you say… That is an excellent idea! If only people weren’t so tired of downloading yet another app… So no, if you want to help your customers at any location, without having to download anything and have all the convenience of a Conversational User Interface, then you could use a chatbot.
When you are looking to build a chatbot on, say, Facebook Messenger, you will find that there are many chatbot platforms out there to choose from. If you haven’t built a chatbot before, it’s hard to see the difference between them. They all claim they are really easy to use, and the sky is the limit.
As a startup we have a lot of energy, a lot of ideas and a lot of fun, but what we don’t have is a lot of time and enough resources. Now that our platform is getting momentum, we need to scale up our team, but as efficiently as possible. So we decided to use our own product to solve this.
